The Fulfilling the Dream Fund is a collaborative effort of national/regional/local funders who have come together to support, strengthen, and expand affirmative action, by which we mean the conscious and deliberate effort to dismantle the structures of racial and gender inequality and assist institutions to become more inclusive and democratic. The Dream Fund is managed by Public Interest Projects Inc., a public charity supporting the progressive social change work of foundations, private donors, and social justice organizations.

Firelight Media received a grant from the national Fulfilling the Dream Fund to create a digital toolkit that addresses the history and ongoing debates surrounding affirmative action. The purpose of this website and the companion educational DVD/CDROM is to help you use these resources to find ways to put your time, money, and heart into moving affirmative action forward and preventing a return to yesterday.
